Dimbi

A fearsome ogress, Dimbi (also Arimbi) is teh wife of the hero Bima and mother of the great demon-slaying hero Gatotkaca. To be with Bima, Dimbi undergoes a process of purification which transforms her into a beautiful woman.
Durga

Also Batari Durga. A malevolent form of Uma (or Parwati), the consort of the god Shiva. Strongly connected to Rangda, the embodiment of evil and destruction in Balinese folklore.

Kumbakarna

A figure from the Balinese Ramayana, Kumbakarna is Ravana’s brother. A fearsome warrior and powerful protector of Lanka, he is known for his extreme appetite and long periods of sleep. Despite his demonic nature and monstrous size, he is often portrayed as possessing virtue and moral beliefs.
Loma

A character from local Balinese folklore and beliefs, Loma is also known as Bhoma. He is the demonic son of a demonic son of the earth goddess Dewi Pertiwi and god Vishnu.
Meganada

Meganada (also Meghanada) is a character from the Hindu epis The Ramayana, known also as Indrajit (conqueror or Indra). He is the eldest son of King Ravana.

Mericha

Also Maricha. A character from the Hindu epic The Ramayana, Mericha is the demon who transforms into a beautiful golden deer to lure Rama and his brother Lakshmana away, so Ravana could abduct Rama’s wife Sita.

A messenger from the gods, Momo Simuka often appears as a giant pig. He is a character from the Hindu epic The Mahabharata.

A character from the Hindu epic, The Ramayana. A powerful warrior, he leads Ravana’s army.
